The Challenge

How do you create a networking platform that truly resonates with business owners while offering efficient tools for connection and growth? Business owners in Australia were growing weary of platforms like LinkedIn, which lacked the focus and usability they desired. The challenge was to design a platform that facilitated meaningful communication, provided valuable business insights, and kept users engaged. BOA needed to include essential features like a well-organized forum, Q&A sections, business news, and the ability for users to chat, join communities, and participate in events—both free and paid. Additionally, ensuring the platform’s UX/UI was intuitive and kept users actively engaged was a key factor in its development.

The Approach

Tailored Design for Business Owners

BOA was designed with business owners in mind, offering a clean, efficient user experience. Whether users wanted to seek advice from fellow entrepreneurs, join business communities, or organize events, the platform’s design made every feature easy to navigate and use.

Event and Community Management

Users could browse and join events in their area or nationwide, as well as create and manage their own communities. A critical feature was the ability to organize both free and paid events, helping users manage and monetize their gatherings with ease.

Engagement-Driven UX/UI

To keep users engaged, BOA incorporated an intuitive and visually appealing interface. The platform’s user flow encouraged continuous interaction, ensuring business owners could effortlessly network, find mentors, and stay updated with the latest business news.

BOA offered a robust set of communication tools, allowing members to chat directly, join discussions in the forum, and ask questions in the Q&A section. These tools ensured that business owners could easily connect, support each other, and share valuable insights.
